Salem Supersectional Area "Top Ten" Class 1A Rankings
1. MOUNDS MERIDIAN (20-1)
Snowed out but hanging tough. Next challenge will be Sat. in GEC/SEC Shootout.
2. WALTONVILLE (17-4)
Picked up three more wins - including shootout victory over Trico.
3. WOODLAWN (15-5)
Winning streak is at nine now. Game at Sesser-Valier will be a stern test.
4. CARRIER MILLS (18-3)
Playing NCOE tonight in GEC final. They should sew up top seed at regional with win.
5. NEOGA (13-9)
The Indians are playing pretty well right now. Part of a loaded regional.
6. DIETERICH (10-7)
After winning consy title @ NTC – Maroons “Move” up the ABV ladder.
7. CUMBERLAND (15-6)
Second best to Marshall in the LIC Tourney is a strong statement for 1A.
8. GOREVILLE (14-4)
Probably the toughest obstacle for Meridian in the regional.
9. STEWARDSON-STRASBURG (12-7)
They are part of that H-P Regional. Four teams currently with winning marks.
10. TRICO (14-7)
Pioneers topped S-V on Friday. Got taken down late @ Pinckneyville Shootout.

West Frankfort Supersectional Area "Top Ten" Class 2A Rankings
1. BREESE CENTRAL (20-2)
Picked up two more lopsided wins. They are the clear cut choice to get to Peoria right now.
2. MURPHYSBORO (20-2)
Snowed out vs. Benton on Friday. Murphy should be the top seed in its regional.
3. PINCKNEYVILLE (18-3)
Conference win over A-J plus Metro-East Lutheran win at home. Get Hornets again this week.
4. METRO-EAST LUTHERAN (20-6)
Losing to Pinckneyville and Mater Dei just helps in the long run.
5. DU QUOIN (17-6)
Another Mater Dei victim – the Indians are still a post-season gem.
6. HARRISBURG (17-6)
Thumping at the hands of Robinson may actually help down the road.
7. NASHVILLE (16-6)
Picked up wins against Carlyle and Chester. Tough game @ Pinckneyville on Friday
8. HERRIN (16-8)
Running second in the Ohio – Tigers hit the road for three straight.
9. SPARTA (14-8)
Lost back-to-back games to DQ. Travel to A-J and host Trico this coming weekend.
10. ANNA-JONESBORO (13-9)
Dropped games to both Murphysboro and Pinckneyville this past week.
