1. MOUNDS MERIDIAN (20-1)
Big week for the Bobcats in capturing SEC title with three wins.
2. WALTONVILLE (14-4)
Consolation title at NIT is nothing to "nit-pick." The big picture is getting clearer.
3. WOODLAWN (13-5)
Winners of seven straight games. Firing on all cylinders now.

4. CARRIER MILLS (15-3)
If only the Wildcats could flex their muscles against a tougher schedule.

5. GOREVILLE (14-4)
The 'Cats have proven they belong in the picture. Can now focus on winning the SEC.

6. OKAWVILLE (11-10)

Don't look at the record - look at the schedule. The Rockets are tough.
7. TRICO (12-6)
Dropped a pair at Sparta Tourney. Pioneers have another game with S-V on Friday.
8. SESSER-VALIER (14-6)
Started well at BIT - finished poorly. Can get back at Trico on Friday.

9. CUMBERLAND (14-5)
The Pirates should have a say in the Little Illini Conference tourney.
10. CRAB ORCHARD (17-2)
Trojans are looking for another shot at CM this week at GEC tourney.

West Frankfort Supersectional Area "Top Ten" Class 2A Rankings
1. BREESE CENTRAL (18-2)
Drilled three opponents at the NIT. Added Columbia trouncing on Monday night to the list.
2. MURPHYSBORO (19-2)
Lost to a good Madison team down at Massac. Got even with Carbondale the next night.
3. PINCKNEYVILLE (16-3)
Like Baskin-Robbins - 31-straight BIT flavors. Host A-J and Metro-East Lutheran this week.
4. METRO-EAST LUTHERAN (19-4)
Ripped through Litchfield tourney. Will face Pinckneyville on Saturday.
5. DU QUOIN (16-5)
Turned it on at the Sparta tourney. Indians must sustain this for the rest of the season.

7. HARRISBURG (17-5)
Beat a good Olney team to claim Carmi tourney. Big test vs. Robinson @ Vandalia Saturday.

6. NASHVILLE (14-6)

Took it on the chin versus the top one. Must regroup for a shot at conference honors.
8. SPARTA (14-7)
Gave DQ tough go in title game on Saturday. Dawgs get another shot at Indians Friday.
9. ANNA-JONESBORO (13-9)
Winners of WF Classic deserve some props. Travel to Pinckneyville Friday.
10. HERRIN (15-8)
Once they get re-focused - look for the Tigers to make a late run.
