RED HILL 43, EDWARDS COUNTY 40

The Salukis held off the Lions with Kale Whittaker topping Coach Bryan Havill's club with 17-points.

Teammate Cameron Lawson added 13-points for Red Hill while Tanner Seitzinger and Zach Mitchell chipped in six and four points respectively as the Salukis upped their mark to 9-18 overall.

Edwards County (10-19) got a team-high 19-points from Riley Raber in the loss.

AT MOUNDS MERIDIAN
CENTURY 74, DONGOLA 55

The Centurions recieved a career-high 30-points from junior guard Cordon Hight in the win over SEC rival Dongola in the first round game.

Coach Travis Foster's club also got 12-markers from Devarae Edmonds and nine and eight points respectively from Chance Butler and Devontay Pullett.

The Demons saw their season close despite 29-points from Jordan Eads.

Both Eads and Hight each hit five 3-pointers in the contest. Uriah Holmes added 12-points for Coach Russ Marsh as Dongola saw its season end at 11-16.

Century is now 15-14 on the year.

AT CRAB ORCHARD
THOMPSONVILLE 57, ZEIGLER-ROYALTON 52

The Tigers rallied for the win in ending the Tornadoes' season with the five-point victory.

Three Thompsonville (8-18) players netted double-figures in the win with 6-foot-5 sophomore Quentin Henson topping the charts with 17-points.

Lance Darnell and Brady Housholder added 12 and 11-points each.

Zeigler-Royalton was led by three double-digit scorers with 15-points coming from sophomore guard Bailey Schimpf and 12-points from Payton Clark. Sophmore Nick McPhail added 12 for Z-R who saw its season end at 7-19.

CHRISTOPHER 70, JOPPA 37
The Bearcats kept their postseason hopes alive with the one-sided win over the Rangers.

Coach Eric Stallman's crew (13-13) was topped in scoring by sophomore Eric Young with 22-points while Kevin Merecks added 19. Kolton Pedigo chipped in 12 for the 'Cats.

Joppa (5-19) saw its season close with Dalton Stoner leading the way with 13-points.

AT STEELEVILLE
STEELEVILLE 53, MARISSA-COULTERVILLE

Six-foot-five junior Darin Winkelman led the Warriors with 18-points while teammate Jacob Combs added 14 as Steeleville advanced to play top-seed Sesser-Valier on Wednesday night with the Monday night win.

The Warriors (10-18) also had Steven Uchtman add 10-points as Steeleville jumped out to an 18-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and cruised home with the victory.

The Meteors (8-17) with junior Brandon Conway topping the scoring list with 10-points while Logan Tabor added nine.

AT VIENNA

CARTERVILLE 63, ANNA-JONESBORO 53

The Lions posted three double-figure scorers in the win over the Wildcats to open the Vienna Regional.

Coach Scott Burzynski's team was led by 6-foot-4 sophomore Matt Bigelow with 18-points while Michael Aschemann put in 17.

Junior guard Dalton Brown chipped in 10-points as Carterville improved to 15-14

Anna-Jonesboro (14-15) saw its season come to a close despite 17-points from senior Brady Wright.

MASSAC COUNTY 79, VIENNA 45
Eleven Patriots inked the book in this lopsided contest in which MC led 44-16 at halftime.

Coach Joe Hosman's troops were topped by 17-points from senior guard Malcom Amos and 12-points from Ross Devers.

The Eagles saw its campaign end at 3-24 with 6-foot-5 senior Clayton Wright leading Vienna with 16-points.
